I thought these were #hedgehogs at first but apparently they're giant #fleas?! 😬
Found in BNF Arménien 291 Roman d'Alexandre (The Alexander Romance) f.116r, c. 1646. (There are some other neat animal illustrations in this manuscript too that I'll post later...)
