I put together a new mech to start NG+ & it’s about as close to a pure melee build that I can get (so far?) without resorting to fighting bare-knuckled. the laser dagger is really, really good as a primary weapon; & the napalm launcher makes for good ambiance.
The Miserikordi is moving back through chapter 3 & this build doesn't work well with every mission but I’m honestly surprised at how well it works with most
going into the finale for chapter 4;
the amount of work spent designing this absolutely mid AC was unnecessary, but it's sort of pretty & actually very fun to play (& has run out of ammo by the end of literally every mission it has finished in Chapter 4 [which has been all of them sans one & so far this last one]); but honestly, the requisite bare-knuckle punching can actually improve its dps (especially against fast-moving single targets).

anyway, after that was done 🙄 I decorated the mech (which is the real impetus here iirc) that had the honors of fully clearing the mission: PM Diner Coffee; this thing's a champ <3
okay, I made The War Bride & The Dowager; suppose I can start actually playing the game again
started into chapter 2 today (hope Balteus understands that it was nothing personal) & it is time to put away childish things; I’ve grown a lot as a mech pilot (since yesterday) & so was long overdue for a look more befitting an “advanced mercenary.”
