This one completely changed my view of Walt Kuhn's (1877-1949) body of work. 'Young Girl,' 1918. Kuhn was a principal organizer of the famous Armory Show of 1913. Possibly created during his time with the experimental Penguin Club, NYC, the work illustrates an experimentation with fauve colors and cubist space that he had seen in Europe while selecting works for the Armory. BlinkPopShift - In 2009 I showed this monster at the #ArmoryShow in NYC. It's a 3D model of migraine pain sensations.

My brain is convinced a kid belly flopped on it but who knows with my memory.
