Today is #arrl #fieldday and the Boston Mountain Radio Club will operate as 1A from a remote location near Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas, using call sign K5JTB. Different WX forecast says with hail but “non-severe risk” & scattered.
Toying with the idea of stringing my original 20m monoband dipole in the attic so I could at least have one band going while my main antennas are unplugged when my lightning app alerts at 30km away.
Will also have WX radar up on one of my computer screens. #StaySafe
