Feel like some Mario Bava tonight, so going for Arrow Video's blu-ray of Kill, Baby...Kill! It's my favourite Bava. I have seen this at the cinema, albeit courtesy of a pink tinged print. Still wonderful to see it on the big screen.

Als schon Kultklassiler des Genres haben seine Filme eine grandiose Edition von bekommen. Lachhaft, dass (der natürlich enthaltene) „Blood Feast“ allen Ernstes 2004 beschlagnahmt wurde. Blu-ray release from of 's (1980) w/#AlPacino. I really like this. Arrow's presentation is compromised by Friedkin's re-edits, but less so than the old WB DVD thankfully.

In my memory, the opening sequence is fused w/that of 's (bodies in water, NYC) + (severed arm found, instigating a serial killer investigation).
