All (afaict) of the #artbots I followed on the bird app are no longer able to post. I am struggling to find equivalent ones here. If you know of any here (bots or otherwise), please recommend?

One thing I miss from birdsite are art bots dedicated to a single artist. Can any art fans point to a list of art bots available on Mastodon?

Happy to find @andrei + @cody and their #artbots here in #Mastodonia. You're reading along -- sad this, struggle there, oh dearie me here -- and suddenly! A #Kandinsky or #Krasner or #WmJohnson appears and things are better for it.

@andrei it seems that the easiest way to have a dedicated column would be via a hashtag. If every post had an #artbots hashtag (or other sufficiently unique hashtag), this would work. Here's a screenshot showing a dedicated column for the #art hashtag.

Other solutions I'm aware of would involve more bots.

If anyone is looking to have more art in their timeline, @andrei and @cody brought all their BotFrens art bots over to Mastodon and made them their own museum server. Go find your favorite artists to follow over at https://arthaus.social/public/local — you’ll even discover or reacquaint yourself with their obscure works :)

Just to be clear, this Rothko doesn't appear to be on @artHaus.social yet. It's one I captured on "the site that shall not be named". I like that this is like the missing link showing Rothko's migration from his abstract expressionism of the 1930's to his more famous colorfield work of 1950+
