What landscape artist inspires you the most?

For me, it's AJ Casson, a later member of the Group of 7. When I looked to comics for simplified backgrounds I wasn't as inspired as I was by the Group's iconic shapes and colours.

I tend to get obsessed with one thing at a time and then move on to the next, but these have stuck around for a long time.

I really like Mark Maggiori, Matthew Wong, and Louis Fratino lately.

For me, the Miami Dolphins teal and orange is a cheerful, unique choice. Too many edglordy logos, imo. Great motion in the dolphin too.

Share a statue or piece of public art from your city that you appreciate, and why?

For me, Henry Moore's Large Two Forms is a classic for Toronto. It was in front of our Art Gallery for years (now relocated to the park behind it) it's a piece that invites young and old like to sit on, play around and interact with.
