Most of them will never have worked an iron never mind a heat press. They will learn real life skills today. The other day I used a old fashion cloth pin and the student worker did not know how to use one. We don't realize that those old fashion tools are not part of their daily living. It is up to us to keep them alive and teach other generation their uses and applications. #arteducation #art

Not only does the heat press I rescued out of storage give the student additional creative options to display their art, but the department now is using it to make T-shirts with a custom-designed logo to promote their program at the Philadelphia Flower Show.
