This, 100%.
As long as we're just pulling numbers out of the ether...
If I was, say, a watercolor artist who wanted/needed to sell watercolor paintings, I'd be better off engaging within a community of 10,000 self-proclaimed #ArtFans, than trying to find the 1% in a community (or platform) of a million.
Mathematically seems equivalent. But the former is "the place" to engage with art and artists and art fans. The latter is 99% noise.
#artists #redbubbleartists has anyone on Mastodon posted or shared the general rules / expectations of artists with shops? For example, is there an "acceptable" number of times we can post about our products daily? How much is too much? And are there specific instances where such posts are always welcome?
Trying to be respectful of the space before sharing too much of my work. Also if any #artfans #redbubblefans would like to let me know what they like to see in posts here, much appreciated.
