I spent some time reviewing what I made in January and I’m not really happy with what I made, so for February I’m trying something different. I planned out exactly what I want to work on, what to study and hopefully at the end of the month I’ll be able to see if I reached my #artgoals

Art goals for 2023:
-Work on my anatomy skills.
-Finally designing some OCs.
-Take my shot at doing pinup art and cross the nsfw barrier.
-Also finish my 120 page comic book as well as my 20 page short story on the side.
-More random pinups and fanarts.

I don’t make new year resolutions, I never stick to them! But I do want to challenge myself. I set myself the goal to have a go at 4 things in 2023. I want to experiment with:-
- Linocut
- Using a paint brush. The last time I did this was at school!
- Something wood related. I would really like to turn some handles for Lino tools. But probably a way off.
- Blender Grease pencil. Animation has always fascinated me.

Truthfully, I’m not one for #NewYearsResolutions.

It’s silly to me to wait or hold off on a goal just because it’s not a “new year” yet. 🤷‍♀️ Then, sharing my #ArtGoals for 2020 backfired on me horribly, so I don’t do that anymore.

I’m at peace with that, but not everyone in similar spots is—So I want to say for anyone who needs it: You are not REQUIRED to share any Resolutions or Goals for #2023. As long as YOU know where you’re going, that’s what matters. 💖

Thinking about #artgoals. Eventually, I'd like to be able to sell some of my work, mostly because it would allow me to keep creating, but also because I will eventually run out of room to store it, since I do almost all traditional art and crafts that take up space.

I also want to learn to use digital painting software. I've been enjoying messing around with #rebelle5pro, but with #migraines and #seizures it is sometimes hard to do things on screens. Still, slowly but surely...
