My partner found this spider in our compost. It’s around a quarter of a fingernail. It’s tiny! My insect identification app said it’s a triangulate cobweb spider and it’s beautiful.

There is very little literature on Dorymyrmex ensifer, and I'm bringing them up again hoping someone keeps them. These #ants are found in #Chile. They live in sand dunes. Perhaps that is the purpose of their striking clear/sandy color.
