Why do I think we need

1. We obviously can't do without it yet
2. Naked body is powerful, but right now we are afraid and ashamed of its powers.
3. Dressed people are obviously doing it wrong ruling the world. I mean all of them. Dressed in suit or shiny robes. Look at history.
4. Naked people can look funny, weird and vulnerable - it's okay. That's how people look like sometimes.
5. It feels good to be naked. We need to do more of simple things that are making us feel good.

Just watched THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN. It’s going to take me a while to process this one. I knew just enough about the story to be completely wrong about it. Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan all gave phenomenal performances and the scenery was breathtaking.

Totally in love with EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE. Not just the movie but everything about it. The cast and crew, the directors, the diversity, the joy, the kindness and the genuine friendship.

If only this movie was a virus that infected our country, all of our troubles would melt away.

Sometimes you need to wait until the perfect time to appreciate a piece of art. In my case it was the book WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING. I view the ultra-popular with a skeptical eye. If something appeals to all, it's dead to me :) I'm often wrong.

Without spoiling any plot points, the book is wonderful. There is a sense of dread throughout the entire book, with perfect Easter eggs scattered in all the right places. As an author, I dream of writing such a book.

I ordered @jerrysaltz@birdsite.tcjc.uk new book on Kindle, and decided I needed it in hardcover instead. This is exactly the book I needed, and at the exact right time. Not only does it fill me in on centuries of art history, it gives me and all artists the permission to make bad art and the admonition to make an enemy of envy.
