Step two: sanding, sanding, sanding
I spent about 4 hours sanding my shadowboxes, because preparation is important and I have 20 of them 😁
Unfortunately this is just the initial sanding. After first few coats of paint there have to be sanding again 😔

I also painted some too soon and had to sand them down totally. Lesson learned 👍

Every true has to pay attention to the all parts of the . And surface has no exceptions. Just got folded raw shadow boxes for my upcoming project. Filling spots to make them invisible... a lot work following...
