Why yes, that IS a clearance section chalkboard taped to the side of the dryer as a windbreak

(The AC otherwise blows into the tunnel and causes cure temps to fluctuate too much)

I'm going to be slowing down on my free bird wallpapers for a while because my day job as a college instructor starts again next week.

I'll continue to post new work, but not every night. Not as much time to draw now! Ha!

I knew this was going to happen, and as much as I wanted my series of 100 Birds to be done in time, I think that was an unrealistic expectation. I'm not disappointed--I think I could have eased up on things even if the academic year wasn't starting.

In the last week my art and/or writer stuff has been:
- submitted my novel to an agent for the first time ever
- got my 'Victorian Velociraptor Fashion Plates' design featured by Redbubble (no actual sales from this yet, of course)
- had my Rosellas design flop in the non-directional wallpaper Spoonflower Design Challenge (placed 700 and something)
- only mentally counted the last one and feel like a complete failure

I am looking for a good video editing program. I am trying to get away from using Adobe products. For my photography I use Affinity photo. But they don't have a video software. Does anyone have a video editing software they enjoy and which does not require monthly subscriptions?
