My tool of choice today is to get the triptych composition set up. Artists have used broomsticks and utilitarian tools for ages. Ed Clark created his famous abstracts using a janitor's broom. Matisse in his later years used a broomstick to extend his reach. Just found some old friends— my old burnishing tools from when I majored in Printmaking at college.
Intaglio was my method of choice; mainly with zinc and copper plates. I *loved* aquatinting. I once used these tools to burnish a plate that had been so badly foul bitten it printed almost black back to a shiny surface. Yes, I had blisters. ^^;
I was thinking I might be able to repurpose them for some sculpting with sculpy. :thinking_rotate:
