Art Basel Miami ended. This year it was weird, I think that is the end for fairs in Miami. It’s gotten too expensive, too crowded and absolutely not worth the exorbitant price of everything. That is what superfluous endeavors leave behind in any growing city. High prices, high rent , property values that their citizens and real Miami natives can’t afford. The wealthy people leave once they screw everything up. If you want art buy it directly from the artist.

Art Basel! I finally went to Art Basel. This has been on my to-do list for a long time. This is somehow my first time in Miami, and what a way to discover this city. The art shows and street art here have been absolutely incredible. Basel is huge and overwhelming with everything there is to see there.

I have been doing the fair circuit here in Miami since 1998. I have seen it all. This year I found most events to be lustreless. My favourite spaces where and . looks like a flea market stuffed with tacky art.
