I'm listening to "Art Pepper Meets The Rhythm Section," a 1957 album on the Contemporary Records label. The Rhythm Section were, of course , were the rhythm component of Miles Davis' quintet at the time. A magnificent album.

A Facebook friend remarked that he happened to have ALL the tracks from Art's performance at Croydon in 1981. There were two tracks I never knew about, never had, and so never included in the set. He sent me the tracks and here are the missing ones, just in time for Christmas. I'll be giving them away for free FROM DECEMBER 25, 2022 THRU JANUARY 31, 2023.
