I’ve been doodling with colored pencils (no idea how to use them) while watching TV with cat on my lap. Lighting is crap so not sure what colors I’m using. But whoa—I just discovered a way to make shadows speak for shapes and I’m excited to play with it more.

For the first time ever I have used up an entire tube of oil paint.

R.I.P. titanium white. You were never easy to open.

This may be a silly milestone, but I am feeling happy that I managed to paint so consistently for a year that I used up all of my white paint!
