Ok weird question. Say I have an image made up of 30 ish rectangles, most of them touching partially. I need each rectangle on its own layer/file, with all blank space maintained.
Is there any tool that'll just do that for me, I less time then just manually copy and pasting on to new layers?
You know, you can have such fun painting with some suprising tools! Hammer smash painting continues to be one of the most fun things I have tried in the studio. Messy, but fun! I just updated my blog post about the technique and showing some of the surprising results - you would not imagine you could achieve such delicacy using a hammer! Read it and let me know what you think.

I want to follow more accounts that talk about processes and techniques of art and design. Anyone have recommendations?
