I really like this figure drawing channel - I haven't actually done any of his exercises, but I like watching them, he's got a good training / explanation style. And he seems nice.

This video in particular - especially the tendency when drawing heads to add more face than you should, is something I do, and can now watch out for!

Y’all can’t say I don’t try! Yet another watercolor tutorial gone wrong…Oh well, I had such fun. Today’s one is called “Lanzarote Beach scene” and boy, those tiny houses and boats gave me such trouble! The mountains and sky look nice though. Oh well, I practiced!

Here's how I coloured that gemstone. I usually do them with Prismacolour Premiere pencils, occasionally just with a black charcoal pencil, but these chalk pencils I have fit the colours of the mandala :D

Want some pencercise (pen exercise)? Practice shading with ink lines. The finer your nib, the more subtle shading you can do. Experiment with paper rotation to see which angles work best for you for flicking the pen. I do best straight up and straight down.

Pen used in the vid is a 003 for the shading and 01 for the shape
