HE.net only exercises their rights as a commercial entity to act in their best interests and the interests of their customers.
#AS397702 clearly is a #RogueISP and #DROP'ping (#DontRouteOrPeer) all traffic to and from them is their right to do so to protect their own networks from malware and spam.

This is standard practice for decades.

9. If it were my decision, Joshua "Null" Moon would already be in a 6' x 6' x 6' concrete box for his leadership in said CSAM-laden hategrooming & stochastic terrorism org.
Sadly noone pays me to change that.
But I'd be open to offers...
10. OFC everyone providing services to #1776Solutions (aka. "Final Solutions") aka. #AS397702 are also guilty: From hosting, colocation, domains and #DDoS protection to transit and interconnect.
11. Of all the sites to defend: Why them?
#DDoS #as397702 #1776solutions
@olives @KelsonV @eff 7. Considering 1776 Solutions is a #RogueISP, #DROP is an act of self- and mutual defense against being abused.
Just like blocking all traffic from GeoIP'd ASNs originating from Russia, China and North Korea is usually considered an act of self- and mutual IT defense.
8. #HE could've chosen to instead force the other providers connecting #AS397702 to DROP them under threat of terminating them as customers, but that would've had actual collateral damages.
