Why do we trust coders to run #FOSS projects?
I don’t mean we shouldn’t, I mean it’s odd. Everywhere that I’ve seen software developed seriously for non-free use, the people who drive the software’s development direction are reps of the users in one way or another.
It’s something that sits lurking in the wings of #ASF governance conversations, because our basis of recognizing “merit” is giving people committer status. It doesn’t lead to a lot of people skills in project management…

I remember when i was an anarchist POW. I was in solitary or what is called quarantine for about a week and got into a small group pop at the old work release for another week, then i was under house arrest on the ankle bracelet for 3 months. I guess i was too damn annoying for those correction officers. Now I'm under "supervision" for what the government says is going to be 3 years.
