Then we moved on to Sussex. Dogs had some great walks in and around Ashdown Forest. They also met my aunt’s dog who decided Huw was great and followed him around everywhere. At the end of that day, Huw was exhausted and happy to use the hotel’s comfy dog bed. #Dogs #DogsOfMastodon #DogsOnHoliday #AshdownForest

Christmas Eve wander onto the forest, got a bit of a break from the busy house and some fresh air.
Realised for the first time that these roots are exposed by water eroding the path when the stream floods or when heavy rain comes down the hillside.
I've been walking over these roots for 33 years.
