#Wayfinder has some serious issues with it's early access (or lack of access). Now imagine if/when #ashesofcreation has issues with it's Alpha 2. Wayfinder was $20 for most folks; Ashes is $500 minimum. The community outcry will be insane.

Lesson to game devs: paid early access + cash shop = you are launched and you better damn well treat it like a launch because the community and players will.

Ich war mal viel in Sachen MMOs unterwegs und hatte immer darauf gehofft, dass sie ambitionierter werden als digitale Sandkästen, in denen mal sich mit selbstgebauten (wow!) Förmchen bekriegte.

Die letzten Spiele, denen ich im CF Geld hinterherwarf, gingen unter, ohne das ich sie je spielte.

Kann gut sein, dass #ashesofcreation erscheint, ohne das ich einen PC habe, auf dem es gut läuft. vielleicht ist auch einfach in meinem Leben kein Platz mehr für solche Spiele. Seufz.

I'm keen to see how the Riot MMO pans out. I have been avoiding too much news or rumor about it. Some of the joy might be in the surprise. I do worry that games like Ashes of Creation give away too much in the name of openness.
