Vor mehr als zwei Wochen, am 04. Dezember 2022 ist der deutsche #ElektronikMusiker, #MultiInstrumentalist und #Komponist Manuel Göttsching im Alter von 70 Jahren verstorben. Zeitweise einziges Mitglied der Band #AshRaTempel - später auch kurz #Ashra - galt er als Speerspitze und #Pionier der elektronischen Musik in Deutschland.🎵

Scored a decent, inexpensive (original) vinyl of this Spanish LP a couple weeks ago. The shop had tagged it as 'Electro' lol. If you've not come across them before this album combines Klaus Schulze-esque electronic workouts with some sweet Soft Prog moves...

And here's a personal favourite. A less druggy, less psychedelic, but still very out there incarnation of #AshRa with #HaraldGrosskopf on drums in 1981, jamming on Spanish TV with Neuronium.

It seems that Spanish TV also didn't have an idea of what to do with this music (they called it "música planeadora"), so they just let the musicians have an extended jam.
