This report on extremely high Phosphate Levels in the Upper Cam, are alarming because it is very likely that the Cat & the Ivel would give similar levels of Phosphates if they were tested.

The situation will be especially dire as the flows start to re-establish themselves as the drought breaks, & phosphates from farmers fields begin to mobilise from where it had been spread over the past year or so.
