Another week, another tropical storm with a weird track.

• #TropicalStorm #Saola will be stirring in a tight loop off the east coast of the #Philippines.
• It is forecast to reach #typhoon strength by Friday, with 120kts / 222kph / 138mph winds, and gusts up to 145kts / 269kph / 167mph by early next week. But lots of uncertainty remain in its future track.
• The name Saola is Vietnamese for the #spindlehorn, a.k.a. #AsianUnicorn, a critically endangered mammal native to Vietnam and Laos.
