On left is my son in law
who turns out to be related to me and my daughter through his Mother who family is from Lithuania. That line "met in Lithuania in the 1800s .
That line runs though my paternal line
On right is Senator Bernie Sanders who ALSO runs through my paternal line
Our gene pool is really small

Absolutely true
Many of my Jewish Ancestors found that out when the "Nazi's came a calling" . Some of those neighbors became vicious and at least one of my relatives who lived to tell the tale talks about that in her Shoah Testimony

Her name is Faye Schulman

I'm doing my Genealogy and there's been lots of twists and turns with some interesting ancestors.
My Mother came here in 1913 from outside Kiev. But I have both American AND Irish roots too

Are there any Historians also Genealogists?
