One of the weird things about the presentation by the #Machiavelli bot is that the suits are posted using their Unicode codepoint, but apparently #Mastodon is converting that into :hearts: :diamonds: :clubs: :spades:, which is part of the reason why they are so clearly visible (and in color), in contrast to the Unicode *card* codepoints, which are left unchanged. Does anybody know at which stage #Mastodon does this conversion?

I got this silicone bowl thing to mix, proof, and bake all in one vessel. One of the recipes in its little booklet is for microwave bread. I did the thing, but now I just want to brown it in the oven? Can you help me figure out temperature and time?

I tried searching but couldn’t get the right keywords. Week two of cold and between travel and Dad in hospital, have few spoons. Thank you.

So the question is-- can anyone cite the paragraph in #Belgian #law¹ which covers legal tender?

Art. VI.7/4 WER seems to give partial coverage of the 2022 law mandating electronic payment acceptance, but it does not cover the still-standing legal tender acceptance mandate.

I’d like to see the nuts & bolts of the law as written in this case to confirm if contracts can really override it - or if the press reports are correct.

I’ve got a rather weak CPU in my #FreeBSD NAS. Saturating the gigabit connection with SSH is not possible, because the CPU starts to sweat. Can you recommend accelerator cards for such a usecase or are there other possibilities? Thanks!
