Back to assembly. I do hope that this works. The needle has a slight burr I would like to get rid of, because it's otherwise in good condition, and I inherited it from my grandmother..

Ok, so I've added the ribbon border. It will now need some jiggling to ease it into place before I attach it to the velvet stele.

I definitely didn't like the raised gold presentation; I wonder whether I'll find the ribbon frame a happier sight?
