Had a wonderful call with a customer today to discuss how we can better integrate #RFID/#NFC into #Snipe-IT. Super nice guy, and gave me some workflows he's had to use in the past which were so helpful to learn about. I love working together with customers (and users) to make the product better - plus it gives me an excuse to buy new toys!

The scenario he painted was very much the same as Netflix's needs were when I visited them a few years ago, where the IT dept doesn't need to know EXACTLY where an asset is, just that it's in the room/area. In the Netflix case, it's because they have labs where anyone can, for example, go in and wheel out a large TV to help with their work (making sure the closed captions are syncing correctly with the audio and comply within required standards.) Super useful and very interesting to chat with him. I wouldn't have thought it would be that common of a workflow, but I guess I was wrong!
