Ich hatte heute jährlichen "Lungen-TÜV" und habe immer wieder einen Kloß im Hals, wenn ich an den letzten denke.

Ich frage mich heute immernoch, warum man bei chronisch Kranken lebensbedrohliche Anfälle auslöst. Ich empfinde das im Nachgang als Körperverletzung und habe dem so sicher nicht eingewilligt. Und was soll sich da zeigen?

@johannes_lehmann I'll bite, I'm in #PublicHealth and one of these journals has PH in the title. I have years of experience in PH but I don't have years of experience in ALL aspects of PH. Sure, I can read your abstract and will read the manuscript but that doesn't give me your insight into the context and scope of your work. Give me a manuscript on #COPD and I know the PH context but #Asthma, much less knowledge there so I appreciate an honest and earnest cover letter.

OK, so maybe more of a carrot than stick approach would help a smoother expansion of ULEZ, but given there is a direct correlation between cars around schools where they're all dropped off and childhood asthma, you'd think protecting their children would be a bit more of a priority. Children are at exhaust level and so inhale the fumes the most.

The smoke from #Canadian #wildfires that drifted into the U.S. led to a spike in people with #asthma visiting emergency rooms — particularly in the #NewYork area.
