Astoria-Megler Bridge

This amazing structure crosses the beautiful Colombia River between Astoria, Oregon and Megler, Washington.
Construction on this bridge started in 1962 and opened for traffic in 1966, completing the construction of US Hwy 101. Prior to that there was a ferry service that needed to be used to cross the river at this point.
