A Strange Loop is a musical with book, music, and lyrics by Michael R. Jackson. The show won Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical at the 75th Tony Awards.

These lyrics strongly resonated with me. It is a strange loop indeed, how by defining ourselves as alternatives to the status quo, we inevitably acknowledge ourselves as a product of it.
