At least with @eleventy I understand the funding and I trust that @zachleat is committed to #11ty for the foreseeable future. It’s still a risk but a risk I am more comfortable with.

Just updated my site (https://zander.wtf) to @astro v3. There were quite a few things I had to change, but overall a fairly smooth upgrade path. Beyond the migration docs (https://docs.astro.build/en/guides/upgrade-to/v3/), the import aliases docs (https://docs.astro.build/en/guides/aliases/) were mostly what I needed to tweak. #astro #astrobuild

Sorry guys... this is not what the OPEN web is about... it is not about a single vendor lock "just" for some nicer dev experience.
In the end we have now #blink as the defacto monopolistic giant in the rendering game. Then there is #webkit mainly used by #safari browser. And faaar away there is #firefox powered by the #gecko rendering engine.
Let us foster #diversity on the #web before it is... too late!
