The once-every-50,000-years comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is due to be at its closest to earth Feb. 1. But you can view it before then — It will be at perihelion this Thursday, Jan. 12. May be visible in your night sky with binoculars, but if not you can view it via a livestream:

"The Virtual Telescope Project will be hosting a free livestream of the comet beginning at 11:00 p.m. EST on Jan. 12 (0400 GMT on Jan. 13)."

Hi #astrodons! Where do you store large data sets so they’re publicly available for download?

I want to make my simulation data publicly available, so others don’t have to re-run them (at a cost of £38k).

But I have ~80TB of data… and little money for long-term storage 😬
