“the history of the universe is a game of wordle. we have the first letter (the CMB), and the last couple (the stuff we see in the present day). JWST is helping us figure out the third letter. and we’ve tried all the vowels for the second letter, so we know it’s a consonant” — #AstronomyCast (paraphrased)

Hey,
Asking for a friend #astronomy folks:
Send me good podcasts/youtube folks that have great casts with accurate science for astronomy and #QuantumMechanics.
I personally love #AstronomyCast and #SupermassivePodcast as well as PBS Space Time and all of NASA's channels.
But trying to pin down a good podcast with accurate and up-to-date info on quantum mechanics is harder.
So thoughts? Feel free to boost for reach. Thanks!

Recently I've changed my mind and now prefer the definition of a #planet as a "Round Thing that Goes Around the Sun" more than the #IAU Definition of "Round Thing That Goes Around The Sun and Has Cleared Its Orbit".
Mostly because I heard on the #AstronomyCast podcast that some solar systems could have earth or even gas giant sized worlds that circle in distant orbits but haven't managed to clear their orbits. It seems unfair to define these big boys as "Dwarf Planets" like Pluto or Ceres.

Moons orbit planets, planets orbit stars, stars orbit within galaxies. It’s orbits all the way down. But occasionally objects can receive a powerful kick that sends them off on a journey, never to return.
