This is a question to all the #astrophotograph community out there. The #1 thing I'm struggling with is a very basic thing. That's what settings to use for exposure time , gain ,etc. Or better how do I calc them for a particular target? I have stuff that works but I don't know if I can do better.
Living in Seattle gives me a very small window to work and I want to spend that time capturing photons rather than experimenting with settings. Looking for people to follow and websites to browse.

For fun I tried Facebook's new scientific/wikipedia article generating AI #Galactica on the topic “planetary nebula astrophotography”.
