The #Atari 400 patent in plotter form! The design patent had 7 different views that I composed together. I also switched these to 100lb Bristol paper which looks and feels so nice!

With the help of the local library, I learned #BASIC, #MOS6502 Assembly, and #FORTH on those machines. And they set my course towards software and hardware engineering.
They were all second-hand, given to me by friends and family. I wish I had photos and especially the machines, but sadly they've been lost to time and yard sales.

Say hello to the best "joystick" I've ever used on #Atari - I've always been a PC gamer, and WASD/Arrow Keys just feel natural to me, I'm kicking ass in games on the #Atari400 now. I'm thinking of having a run of PCBs made, and actually making a few of these that are better looking.

I'm just sitting here wishing RespeQt could do modem emulation. Don't want to spend $80 on a #FujiNet, and not willing to pay for APE until it supports Linux... What's a guy to do?
Might have to buy a real Atari modem and an 850 lol. That might cost as much as a Fuji... Rock and a hard place.

Looking through some of the behind the scenes photos from our various interviews for a documentary I'm working on called #TechnicallyImprobable! about the tech industry in and around #GrassValleyCA.
All of these interviews center on the #atari research and development arm that was located there, initially called #CyanEngineering. This is where a bunch of arcade games were designed, as well as the #Atari2600 and #Atari400 and #Atari800 computers.
