* HDMI Output
* Serial port controllers (so the old controllers SHOULD work, and the new ones work on classic hardware)

Very nice box, cartridge and manual🤗
The arcade version is a bit more difficult than the #C64 port I played as a teenager?
More likely I get old, so I had troubles to reach the 2nd screen🙈
It plays very well and one of my five(!) #A7800 #RetroTink5x preset gives me a very good output. The 7800 is the only system I have so many presets for different type of games🔧
The colors are correct on a PAL systen👍

Thanks to a mate, finally got a (long) overdue upgrade for my #Atari7800 and it’s Concerto cart!
It’s a HOKEY chip which is a clone of the POKEY (for audio only) which lets me play Commando, Ballblazer & those homebrews which support it.

Rather than ripping off Rollerball, as most future sports video games tended to, Ballblazer was a kind of super-fast split-screen 3D blow football. Each player controlled a droid and attempted to grab a floating ball and then blast it into the opponent’s goal. Technically superb on 8-bit Atari machines (and not too shabby on the C64), the game excels in two-player mode.

You’re doubtless familiar with Centipede – and the original might rock up in this series one day. But the Atari 7800 home conversion always stood out to me. Along with being colourful, suitably noisy and responsive, it had a two-player mode. Nothing exciting about that, you might think – but you can play *co-op*. Such a pity more arcade classics didn’t offer that option.
