Watched the first episode of the second cour of the #anime #UruseiYatsura and while I like the previous opening better, this one is still good. The episode itself was a lot of fun, with the introduction of #Ten, who was adorable and hilarious. I also liked the humor a lot which made fun of #Ataru’s lecherous nature more cleverly.

I didn’t realize we’d be getting more Urusei Yatsura this season, but it’s nice to keep #Lum and company around.

This #romantic #comedy anime is a remake of a classic I’ve never seen, so I couldn’t tell you how faithful it is to the source material. What I CAN tell you is that it’s much more a comedy than a romance, as none of the male characters deserve any of the female characters in their lives. They’re all terrible.

#Lum, in particular, is a cute and sweet character who, sure, has flaws, but really needs to give up on #Ataru already.

I tried animating a small sequence from the opening of Urusei Yatsura (1980's version ), it took me forever and cost me my sanity as I tried animating this in Photoshop on a 10 year old laptop.
