Finished #AtelierSophie2 today. I enjoyed my time with it.

Pros:
Good character models.
Good alchemy system (Mysterious trilogy has my favorite.)
Lots of nice items to create with some new traits (including traits that exist solely to combine with other traits).

Cons:
There are so many items to create that the UI it well.
PC port could have been better. There aren't very many options. I would have liked more anti-aliasing options.

Day three of my vacation: started #Solaris by Stanislaw Lem and Enemies in Love (the story of a German Prisoner of War who fell in love with a black nurse in the US army) by Alexis Clark.

Also beat Zmei in #AtelierSophie2.

I picked up #AtelierSophie2 after putting it down for months due to the sheer amount of work I was doing tiring me out. These games are so addictive to me. I just spend hours synthesizing to get the best traits into neutralizers, even though I'm no where close to the point of the game where stats really matter.

I am at the point where I need more cauldron space though....

Also, Sophie has a precious smile.

Atelier Sophie 2 might have my favourite rain ambience in any game. It's not as fancy or photo-realistic as a lot of games, but it has this really painterly art design that just reminds me of what it feels like to walk for hours in the rain more than any other game. Pair that with a beautiful and atmospheric soundtrack and it's just perfect.
