It will be part of a presentation in our #museum and #culturalheritage centre. I finished the #darning wild and intuitively. And was so fascinated by the colours that I worked on a textile #brooch (not yet ready) as an optical counterpart. Do you remember how I decided to #embroider #mosses in a 3-D way?
SLOWLY, I advance.
I found out that the secret lies in quite #natural = irregular #stitches and mixing #colours and #yarns. I'm using mainly #FrenchKnots (twined 1-5x), but also free #stitching where I later cut some of the threads open. Some glossy #yarn between imitates humid #moss.

Minus 10°C in the #naturepark #VosgesDuNord, grey fog swallows up the white landscape and the birds are miserably hungry. I already fill the feeders a couple of times a day.
My dog Bilbo doesn't want to walk in the sharp wind. I should better #embroider some #paperart #butterflies as #soulwarmers?
