With surprise snow yesterday, we had a really heavy frost on top of that creating some beautiful photo opportunities. We don't see the sun on this side of the valley now until late February, so if it snows and freezes over several days, it layers up and makes everything look like a Narnia novel. The other side of the valley has green fields!
