Can you tell me why they are about 10 times slower at literally everything they do than they were in 1990, while the underlying technology has increased in speed by around 100 orders of magnitude? They don't have any additional features: I could check my balance and withdraw cash, and those two features are (mostly) the only two things required. How have you managed to royally fuck up something that worked perfectly fine?

The solution of #bankinghubs is faltering as the big banks are not driving forward with such community provision.
Certainly the banks may see such potential exclusion of the elderly as a small issue, but for the concerned this is a serious problem!

WHEN did Australian big4 banks:
(a) shut down all of their smaller branches?
(b) sneakily return to the malpractice of CHARGING customers of 'other banks' to withdraw money at ATMs??
Tried to get some cash out recently (I rarely do this) and all local branches of my bank shut down, ATMs taken away; while the few remaining branches of 'other banks' want to charge me for accessing my own cash.
I THOUGHT we had BEEN through this some years ago and the big 4 banks had grudgingly agreed to let 'other bank' customers withdraw cash without a fee??
