I recently #read #essentialism and really enjoyed it. I find these #books often just state the obvious but in a way that needs to be stated. It's kind of like cleaning your room, you know you gotta do it, but if your friend tells you you will jump on it lol.
Any other recommendations from people on books like this? Also finished #atomichabits and #digitalminimalism recently and loved those. Always down for more books!

Just finished reading #AtomicHabits by James Clear. I had read a summary previously and tried what I thought would be good. I had read a bit of the actual book and didn't feel I needed to read it. I was wrong! This is an excellent book on how we get in and out of habits including how our brains/chemistry works. I use stacking already and know that works. Big takeaway is emphasis on System rather than Goal--"doing what needs doing" rather than "am I there yet?" Lots of practical things are given.

at minimum #maskMandate should be required in #hospitals & tbh #publicTransport such as #airports & #subway #bus

finally listening to the 2nd 1/2 of #atomicHabits after getting bored w/it.. listen to this stuff out of morbid curiosity tbh BUT this section on #seatBelt laws going from no use to practically complete compliance b/c of the #government got me thinking…
it’s nonsensical & idiotic to be doing #maskMandate in hospitals PERIOD #airborne
so can only conclude it is PURPOSEFUL in order to NOT create what is CLEARLY a good habit for not only vulnerable, but everyone🤬🤬🤬

I've started reading "Atomic Habits" a few weaks ago. I created a habit to read a chapter every evening. I skipped reading for a few days because I was too sick. I never begannreading again. A good example of irony. 😕
