Sembrerò sacrilego, ma è #ATrickOfTheTail è uno degli album che mi piacciono di più dei #Genesis (oltre ai primi 2 😉)

Questa #Entangled , lo ricordo bene: l'ascoltai la prima volta al liceo quando venni in contatto con le prime nozioni di fisica.

Ricordo distintamente questo brano quando, mentre studiavo la caduta dei gravi, capii che una piuma o un piombo da 1 kg in teoria se lasciati cadere nel vuoto cadrebbero alla stessa velocità verso la terra.

Great Albums - 1970s: #Genesis – #ATrickOfTheTail (1976). It was always gonna be Phil. Collins’s vocal doubling of Peter Gabriel was too uncanny for him not to fill the lead role once Pete left. The band could still write, too, and for once the production didn’t sound like they’d recorded in a dank woodland hovel. They even took a page out of Led Zeppelin for “Squonk,” which rocks simpler and harder than anything since “The Knife.”

Saw #Genesis. Twice. 1975 Drury Lane. With #PeterGabriel. Astonishing, and I’m not into #rock or #progrock really. I found #Yes irritating. Then 1976 without PG at #hammersmithodeon. PG had gone. #ATrickofTheTail is a fine album. A lot of credit to #philcollins. Massive posh, slick stage show. PG was impromptu. Ironically perhaps I ceased to follow Genesis PG left. And ceased to follow because he left Genesis.
