@troy But that’s a good thing, right? I owned stock years back; I was outraged by Kotick’s compensation package. Then there was that hostile work environment scandal. My ex-son-in-law used to work there, my daughter met Bobby and said he’s a jerk.

Been watching some Twitch streams of and am cautiously optimistic it will be more fun than D3. I am not sure I want to support with my $ though, so am thinking Ill wait until the M$ is imminent before I do.

I also think how they did multiplayer in D4 is amazing. I would love to see a proper single player rpg use this model of multiplayer.

I saw that is returning to help the teams at which is cool, because Chris seems to have contributed a lot to the incredible lore of the early Warcraft games (Which is notable for high fantasy).

Regardless, I'm not supporting for now (not paying for nor playing their games), due to all the ongoing criminal and civil labor issues. I'm hopeful that once Bobby Kotick is out as CEO, I can again visit the incredible worlds crafted by Chris Metzen.

I get that folks are excited for World of , but with 2 bad expansions in a row and applying ever more pressure for ROI, I don't see how to expect the franchise to get better.

I love the universe, but the franchise's custodian is not doing it any favors.

I would love if development stopped on WoW, and a single player Souls-esque 3rd person Warcraft RPG was developed instead.

Until Kotick is out, my wallet stays shut to
