We’ve been told our apartment building in Auckland’s Eden Terrace wasn’t hit too hard with the flooding (which is great!). Waiting on some pics from building management of our storage locker to make sure there’s no major damage. The Oratia Stream water level gauge at Millbrook Road shows a peak of 5.216 metres at 7:17am today 1Feb2023.
A dam failure was reported on the Cochran Stream which flows into the Oratia Stream at around 10am, but data after 9:50am is not yet available.

It appears to have started making partially sane readings during Friday's flood peaking with a reading of 2.134939 kilometres at 7:20pm before failing at 11:03pm.
