Worth noting that the timer in the email is an animated .gif that counts down and repeats every 60 seconds.

I just used #audacity to make an audio spot and it was kinda cool. Nothing too special but quite fine.

I have a MacBook and would like to digitize some of my vinyl records. The signal is coming off a pre-amp into a USB connection on the Mac. A few years back, I used #audacity for this work. Is that still the best FOSS application to use for macOS? #askfosstodon

'Cakewalk by Bandlab' ist nicht gerade unterkomplex, aber ein Wochenede reicht zur Einarbeitung - und für das ganze Geraffel, bis auch wirklich alle Eingangssignale (Amp, Audio Interface, MIDI-Controller, …) dort ankommen, wo sie sollen.

Just ripped "The Berlin Concert" by John Williams from #vinyl and noticed a lot of cracks on it. It shows very clearly in the spectrum view in audacity. Does anyone know how to get rid of that? I already used the "click removal" tool in audacity.
I tried to check out the standalone click removal tool but the site is down and it won't run under Linux using wine (downloaded it from softonic)...
